This flexibility ensures a robust heat supply and ultra-low heating bills for consumers. The Heat Plan for Denmark expects that half of Denmark’s heat demand will be covered by waste heat when Denmark achieves Net Zero in 2045, 15% of the waste heat is to be supplied from local industry.
